An EDI software’s ability to identify and respond to invalid X12 HIPAA EDI transactions is a major contributor to the effectiveness of EDI dependent organizations. Many healthcare companies appoint a business unit as stewards of the tens of thousands of transactions that are transmitted between payers, providers, and trading partners providing auxiliary services. These business units are often hard-pressed to respond to the quantity of incorrect claims, enrollments and payments received within their current EDI solutions or products.
The T-Connect EDI Management Suite is Tallan’s healthcare EDI product, providing actionable insight, alerting, and painless mechanisms to respond to invalid X12 EDI transactions flowing in and out of the organization. The following is a brief introduction into some of these capabilities.
The EDI solution consists of several components working in unison to introduce, augment or replace an EDI processing system.

In the September release for Dell Boomi’s Atomsphere the platform now offers a Google Apps Connector!
The Google Apps connector uses the Google Drive API for spreadsheet file management as the Google Document List API has been deprecated.
Dell Boomi has added the following improvements to the September 2015 release of Dell Boomi AtomSphere. For more information, please see the September Release Notes in the AtomSphere Reference Guide.
A Dell Boomi administrator can create a series of API Roles and associate specific users to each API Role. By associating a group of users to a single API Role, the administrator can grant access all the users associated with that API Role for specific APIs, groups of APIs, or web service components at once without needing to set the permissions individually.
Also, the administrator can define specific IP addresses or IP address ranges…

We thought we’d post some of the recent changes and new functionality added to the Del Boomi Platform. Some of these are additional features to the API Stack while others are new functionality in existing shapes (as in the try/catch shape) and the New proxy settings for Atom, HTTP, SOCKS4, and SOCKS5 protocols provide the ability to add a userID and password to key-based authentications. Overall some really really cool stuff and we hope that you will find them useful in your project or implementation!!!!!!
Please read on and see if one of these enhancements or new features will work for you!
Dell Boomi Basics
Tallan has recently started providing 30 minute Lunch and Learn type of webinar recipes for basic iPaaS integration solutions using Dell Boomi’s Atomsphere development platform.
For this quick demonstration we’ve broken the main points into the following bullet points:
• Creating a free account
• Logging in to the Dell Boomi environment
• Creating Processes
• Connector Review
• Process features
• Understanding Profiles
• Building Maps
• Test Mode Overview
A common trend that we have been seeing recently is the similarities in the pain points that companies are often faced with. One of those such pain points is the difficulty in quickly receiving and processing large EDI files having a file size over 10 MB. In one instance, there was a need to receive a HIPAA EDI 834 Enrollment file totaling 1.3 GB, containing roughly 800,000 enrollments. The already powerful BizTalk Server in a 1-1 architecture – 1 BizTalk Server, 1 SQL Server, was having difficulty processing the file. The file would take several hours to process, often taking up several gigabytes of drive space to attempt to disassemble the file using the EdiDisassembler pipeline.
